Custom Courtyard at the Arizona Country Club
First impressions begin right at the entrance. We crafted a sophisticated, durable courtyard for the Arizona Country Club, a historic private club in the Phoenix community since 1949. Using the timeless elegance of natural slate pavers, we blended rustic desert textures with upscale design suited to the Arizona climate. To complement the clubhouse's sweeping earth-toned walls, wood detailing, and monumental stone water feature, we chose an oversized geometric slate layout. The large-format stones ground the open space, making the courtyard feel both grand and welcoming. Tumbled slate offers a non-slip surface for high-traffic areas and pairs beautifully with Mediterranean and Tuscan architecture. Our crew laid every paver for seamless grade transitions, flawless drainage, and crisp, tight joints — drawing the eye toward the glowing entrance windows and the lit stone fountain. The result is a polished, durable surface built to withstand heavy foot traffic and the intense Arizona sun for decades.

This Paradise Valley masterpiece shows how premium stonework redefines outdoor architecture. For this custom desert estate on Mummy Mountain, we designed and installed a sweeping, radiused driveway that blends natural artistry with structural permanence. Instead of straight lines, the design uses a series of concentric, radiused arcs. The fan-like curved layout draws the eye upward toward the estate, echoing the rolling curves of the surrounding hillside, while the gentle slope complements the modern geometry and stacked stone walls of the residence. By using interlocking pavers instead of poured concrete, we created a flexible system that resists cracking, holds its color, and delivers a lifetime of low-maintenance elegance through the desert heat and shifting mountain terrain.
